June 3rd

Last night was a tough meet for everyone, but fortunately we prevailed and WON! Thank you to the swimmers, coaches and everyone involved in the meet!

I need to address a few things:

-PLEASE declare for each meet by Saturday at 12:00. The coaches had 29 swimmers with no response on declaring and had to scratch events as well as try to shuffle. other kids in. 

-Also, there are just a few jobs at each meet, and we need parents to help with timing, shepherding, and stroke and turn.

-If you are leaving a meet early, please let the coaches know. It was a disappointment for swimmers to be told they could not swim a relay because kids left early.

Registration forms can be found at https://www.stratfordevans.net/

- You can start dropping off completed registration forms with payment on April 1st

- Payment can only be made by check this year  - please make checks payable to Stratford Swim Team

- There will be a locked box at 416 Keeling Lane, please place the form and payment in an envelope and drop it off  

We will be introducing SwimTopia as our official swim team website. All updates, practice/meet information, questions and communication will be handled through SwimTopia once it is up and running. Upcoming Dates: 

April 1 - Registration starts 

May 10 - First Practice - afternoon practice, times to be announced 

May 11 - Parent's Meeting 6pm @ the clubhouse 

May 24 - morning practices start, times to be announced 

May 25 - Time Trial 

June 1 - First Meet 

New team swim suits! Our old suit has been discontinued so we have chosen solid black as our new suit color and you will be able to choose the brand that you prefer. Onell piece competition style suit for the girls and long jammers for the boys. If you still have the old one that fits it’s fine to use it for this season. 

We can’t wait for the season to start!
